HGA.ES Series — High-Output Production
The HGA.ES series scales from 2-cavity to 6-cavity configurations, delivering outputs from 1800 up to 7200 bottles per hour. Designed for pharmaceutical contract manufacturers and dedicated medicine bottle lines that require continuous high-volume operation, these machines handle containers from 500 ml to 1500 ml across a broad range of neck diameters from 18 mm through 98 mm.

How to Choose the Right Medicine Bottle Blow Molding Machine
① Container Volume & Geometry
Start with your largest container in the product range. If your maximum volume is 500 ml or below with a body diameter under 60 mm, the 2-cavity HGA.ES compact configuration is the natural fit. Containers from 500 ml to 1000 ml with wider body diameters point toward the HGA.AS standard or the HGA.ES large-cavity series. Bottles above 1000 ml and up to 1500 ml fall in the HGA.ES XL 2-cavity range.
② Neck Finish Diameter
Neck size is often the determining constraint. Sub-10 mm neck finishes — used in eye drop and nasal spray bottles — require a machine specifically built for small-tooth-mouth operation. The 7 mm automatic configuration is unique to this series. For necks in the 18–38 mm range typical of syrup and wash bottles, the 3-cavity or 6-cavity HGA.ES models deliver maximum output efficiency.
③ Required Output Rate
Match your daily production volume to the machine’s theoretical output with a realistic uptime factor (typically 80–85% for pharmaceutical lines). A 6-cavity configuration at 7200 bph is designed for large-scale contract manufacturing. A 2-cavity machine producing 2000–2400 bph suits mid-scale pharmaceutical plants, regional generic manufacturers, and companies entering PET bottle production from glass or HDPE alternatives.
④ Resin Type & Regulatory Approval
PET is the default choice for most pharmaceutical bottles and is widely approved under international pharmacopeial standards. PETG is preferred for pediatric and ophthalmic applications because of its better drop resistance and compatibility with lower-temperature sterilization. If your packaging specification references a specific resin grade by code, confirm this with the machine supplier at the quotation stage — mold material and process settings are resin-specific.
⑤ Factory Utility Capacity
Each machine requires a compressed air supply (low-pressure circuit at 7 kg/cm², high-pressure blowing at 26–35 kg/cm²), a cooling water circuit operating at 5–6 kg/cm² with flow rates of 30–40 ltr/min, and electrical supply matched to the machine’s heating power (33–62.5 kW maximum). Facilities in Colombia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East often run shared utility infrastructure — verify your existing capacity against the machine’s peak demand before specifying a model.
