Resin Selection & Application Guide
ANIMAL DE COMPAGNIE
Food and beverage, water, condiments, edible oil. Excellent clarity, strong barrier properties. Most common choice for standard food-grade bottle production in the FS and ES series.
PETG
Premium cosmetics, baby bottles, pharmaceutical, gift packaging. Glass-like clarity, good chemical resistance, excellent printability. First choice for high-clarity special-shaped luxury containers.
PP
Baby bottles (food-contact approved), pharmaceutical containers, personal care, household chemicals. Chemical resistance, lightweight, processable in both transparent and opaque formulations. Standard choice for wide-neck baby bottle formats.
PCTG
Medical and pharmaceutical packaging, premium cosmetics. Combines PC’s clarity with better chemical resistance. Used where both optical quality and regulatory compliance are required simultaneously.

Select Guide
How to Choose the Right Blow Molding Machine
Step 1 — Define Your Container
Start with the bottle’s maximum volume, body diameter, height, and neck finish. These four dimensions determine which models physically accommodate your design. If your container exceeds the mold-open distance or body diameter of a given model, it cannot be produced on that machine regardless of other considerations.
Step 2 — Confirm Your Resin
All models process PET, PETG, PC, PCTG, and PP. However, resin choice affects the oven heating requirement and the blowing pressure needed. Thick-wall PC and PCTG preforms for large containers need higher heating capacity — confirm the model’s maximum kW is sufficient for your preform weight and wall thickness before specifying.
Step 3 — Set Your Output Target
Single-cavity models produce 600–700 bph and suit format-flexible, quality-critical, or lower-volume operations. Dual-cavity models cover 700–1800 bph. The four-cavity model reaches 2800 bph for compact special-shaped containers. Choose the model whose rated output, with a 15–20% utilization buffer, meets your sustained daily demand.
Step 4 — Assess Your Utility Infrastructure
Electrical load, high-pressure air capacity, and cooling water supply must all match the selected model’s specifications. These scale significantly across the range — from 10 kW additional heating and 1200 ltr/min high-pressure air on the smallest model to 35 kW and 16,000 ltr/min on the large dual-cavity. A pre-purchase utility assessment prevents installation delays.
Step 5 — Consider Format Flexibility
If you run multiple bottle designs with frequent changeovers, single-cavity models minimize mold-change cost and complexity. If your production is concentrated on one or two stable SKUs at high volume, multi-cavity consolidation delivers better per-unit economics and simpler operations than running multiple single-cavity machines in parallel.
Step 6 — Baby & Pharma Considerations
For baby bottle and pharmaceutical container production, an oil-free air compressor is required to prevent air-to-product contamination. PP and PETG are the preferred resins for infant-contact applications. Verify that the model’s neck diameter range accommodates the wide-mouth finishes common in baby feeding bottle formats before finalizing selection.
Auxiliary Equipment for a Complete Production Line
High-Pressure Air Compressor
Must be sized to the model’s high-pressure air consumption specification plus a 20–25% safety margin. Oil-free configurations required for baby product, pharmaceutical, and food-contact applications.
Chiller Unit
Maintains cooling water at the 8–12 °C set point required by the machine’s preform injection mold and blowing mold cooling circuits. Essential for cycle-time stability and dimensional repeatability across long production runs.
Contrôleur de température du moule
Recommended for PC and PCTG processing, and for multi-cavity machines where coolant temperature offset between cavities affects gloss consistency. Maintains ±1 °C set-point accuracy per cavity circuit.
Visual Inspection Machine
In-line automated inspection positioned at machine output checks each container for wall-thickness variation, surface cosmetic defects, and dimensional non-conformance at production speed — essential for regulated packaging categories.
